As our community continues to face economic uncertainty, job losses, and the impacts of industry curtailments, the need for mental health and wellness support has never been greater.

Mackenzie Community Services is a registered charity and non-profit organization. All our services are free of charge. While many of our other programs receive dedicated funding, the Rest of Us Program does not currently have sustainable funding in place. Despite this, it remains one of our most critical services, supporting over 100 clients annually and facing a growing waitlist. Last year, MCS served over 470 community members through its programs, and the need for support continues to rise. Without additional funding, our ability to meet that growing demand is at risk.

The Rest of Us Program offers generalized counselling specifically for adult men, while also providing inclusive support for all adults in a safe, welcoming, and validating environment. This program is staffed by a Clinical Counsellor and dedicated Support Workers.
To help sustain this vital program, we have established a secure donation page through CanadaHelps.

In addition to supporting the Rest of Us Program, unrestricted donations will help MCS respond to emerging community needs and cover the operational, staffing and facility costs that keep our programs running. These flexible funds allow us to maintain safe, welcoming spaces and ensures important support services remain available in our community.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps ensure that individuals in our community can continue to access compassionate, professional support when they need it most.

If you're unable to donate, please consider sharing this post. Your support helps us reach others who may be able to contribute.

Donate to Save the "Rest of Us" Program by Mackenzie Community Services, and make a difference today. Support the causes you care about at CanadaHelps. Donating is easy and secure.
