Looking for something fun to do this Saturday?

The Silverwoods Park Festival returns on Saturday, June 6th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Vauxhall Park (54 Price Street), and it promises to be a fantastic day for the entire family!

This community celebration has something for everyone, including:

If you love gardening or would love to learn how to garden, and you'd like to meet other people, this is a great opportunity for you!

Come join our FREE, drop-in, Green Thumbs program, every Tuesday from 10-11am from April 28th - June 16th! Together with Crouch Neighbourhood Resource Staff, we'll turn over the soil, prepare the garden beds, plant herbs, pollinators and vegetables, and beautify the garden beds outside the Crouch Library at 550 Hamilton Road!

We'll also learn a lot from several knowledgeable speakers who will be teaching us how to do companion planting, foraging, and learn about the Indigenous plants and pollinators of this area!

🌿 Let’s Clean Up SoHo! 🌿

Join us on Saturday, April 18 at 10:30 AM for a community clean-up in collaboration with the SoHo Community Association and Unity Church!

We’ll meet at Unity Church (501 Nelson St.), then split into groups to help tidy up our neighbourhood. Every helping hand makes a difference 💛

West of Wellington? We’ve got you! If it’s easier to stay on your side, feel free to clean your area—then bring your filled garbage bags to us and we’ll load them onto the truck. You’re more than welcome to join us after!

As a thank you, Unity Church has generously opened its doors to volunteers, and we’ll wrap up the day with a community potluck at 1 PM— We would appreciate it if residents could contribute to the potluck
