2026 “Recognition from Ron” recipient - Christopher Roche.

This yearly award was created to highlight those that provide so much to the programs and organizations in our region.

Most of the work is done behind the scenes. But, we see you and we recognize the effort and time that these individuals give!

Our desire is to just show a small level of gratitude and appreciation to these people. This year, if you have been around Kelly Park, or any event in our Town of Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove, you likely would see Chris there, calling games, doings sheets or organizing the tournament!

We want to highlight Chris this year as Dad/Ron would be proud to see this and to call Chris a friend.

Thank you Chris for all you do, organizing all these events, tournaments, keeping kids active and providing these opportunities!

Deadline is Friday , June 12th, 2026 for this years Ron Cadigan Foundation Golf Tournament Fees and Forms to be submitted for past teams.

As of today we only have 5 teams paid in full of the full slate of registered teams for the event.

To make sure we will have the costs covered for the tournament, we will be moving to the wait list on Saturday morning and any teams with forms and fees not submitted will be added to the waitlist for the next tournament!

KPSA is proud to welcome The Ron Cadigan Foundation as a partner for our 2026 Ballhockey Season!

We are also over the moon to announce that our littlest residents will be part of our new group called the Future Stars!

Registration opens tomorrow online at 10am for both residents of LBMCOC or students attending St Francis of Assisi, there will be a limit on the number of spaces available for each session!

💙 MOVEMENT IS MEDICINE 💙

The Ron Cadigan Foundation is incredibly proud to have completed the “Sit to Stand” Challenge in support of Parkinson’s Society of Newfoundland and Labrador!

From April 1st–11th, teams were challenged to complete 5,000 sit-to-stand reps together — and thanks to the overwhelming support from our members, sponsors, friends, families, colleagues, and community, this initiative became so much more than a challenge. It became a movement of wellness, education, teamwork, and support.

We are beyond grateful to everyone who participated and helped spread awareness about the incredible programs and services offered through the Parkinson’s Society of NL.
