Our third "INCLUSIVE ARTIST SERIES", a monthly mixed media program aimed at expression through creativity and storytelling in partnership with the Lloydminster Public Library will be happening on Friday, May 29th, 2026 from 6pm - 7:30pm!
Our May Artist is local Dancer & Choreographer: STEPH FOXX
Steph, (Stevie to her friends) is a cis female le***an (she/her) who has trained under some of the biggest names in the dance world, including Brian Friedman (dancer/choreographer for Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, P!nk, Todrick Hall & many more), Blake McGrath (dancer for Madonna, Britney Spears), Brian & Scott Nicholson (choreographers for Ariana Grande & Kim Petras) to name a few. She came out when she was 15, about 5 years into her dance career, and though being a le***an in the dance world is often an isolating experience, but it’s also given her so much. She has danced at Uppsala Pride in Sweden, Calgary Pride Parade & loves to share the art of dance with those who may not feel welcomed in a very heteronormative industry. She feels extremely grateful to have had several LGBTQ+ mentors in dance to look up to, & wants to (hopefully) be that for others! Her goal is to create a safe space for q***r dancers to explore & express themselves through dance, in a safe environment meant to build confidence.
ARTIST NOTE: *For those attending this event, dancers should wear something they feel comfortable moving in & covers all sensitive/private areas (in order to keep class appropriate), with socks or bare feet for class. Hair can be down or tied up.*
