🎯 **Your job hasn't given you a leadership title yet. Toastmasters will.**

You don't need a promotion to start leading. At Kawartha Lakes Toastmasters, you can:

🎯 Pitch ideas before you have to pitch them to a client
🎯 Lead a project before you're officially "in charge" of one
🎯 Get feedback in a room built to help you grow, not judge you

Leadership isn't a title — it's a skill you build. Come start building yours with us!

😂 **If only public speaking skills came from a vending machine...**

Confidence, a clever intro, effective pauses, audience awareness — wouldn't it be nice to just grab them off a shelf? Unfortunately, real speaking skills take practice (and a little courage)!

The good news? That's exactly what Toastmasters is for. Come build your confidence one speech at a time, in a supportive, no-judgment space.

📖 **Word of the Month: SAGA** [sa-ga]

*A dramatic and often complicated story or series of events*

Every family has one. Every club has one too — and ours is just getting started with 20 years of stories worth telling! Expanding your vocabulary is just one more way Toastmasters helps you become a stronger, more confident communicator.

💬 **Use it in a sentence:** "The speaker shared a family saga that revealed the harrowing adventures of her ancestors."

Want to build your vocabulary and speaking skills alongside a supportive community? Come join us!
