Kick off the holiday season with the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce at a festive Mix & Mingle during the Stringam Christmas Tree Festival.

Join us on Tuesday, November 17, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM for a relaxed opportunity to connect with fellow Chamber members, local businesses, and the community while taking in one of southern Alberta’s favourite holiday traditions.

This is networking with a festive twist. Stop by the Chamber area, make a few new connections, catch up with familiar faces, browse local vendors, enjoy the music, and experience the beautifully decorated Christmas trees throughout the Festival.

You do not need to be a Chamber member to attend. Everyone is welcome, but RSVP is required. Bring a colleague, invite a friend and come enjoy an evening of community and connection.

A Local Perspective on Women in Business: Welcoming Councillor Rufa Doria, PhD

We are pleased to welcome City of Lethbridge Councillor Rufa Doria to the 2026 Lethbridge Chamber Women in Business Conference, where she will join us for special remarks following our morning welcome.

An engineer, entrepreneur, academic, and community leader, Councillor Doria brings a diverse background in business, research, and public service. A former Fulbright Scholar with a PhD in Bioresource Engineering from McGill University, she is also the CEO and co-founder of Doria and Doria Canada Immigration Consulting Inc.

Recognized for her contributions to leadership, multiculturalism, and community service, Councillor Doria was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee Medal for Alberta in 2022.

During her remarks, she will share a snapshot of women in business and entrepreneurship in Lethbridge, highlighting local statistics and the important contributions of women to our economy and community, while also sharing a little of her own story and experiences.

As we explore this year's theme, Sustainable Success: Creating Success That Thrives in Business and in Life, we look forward to beginning the day with a perspective rooted in our own business community.
