🌟 We Need Your Support to Keep Serving Lethbridge’s Seniors 🌟

The Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization (LSCO) has launched the “Support Our Seniors” (SOS) campaign—and we’re asking our community and members to come together now. 💙

🔹 Why? LSCO has faced eight consecutive years of operating deficits due to rising costs, reduced gaming/grant revenue, and ongoing COVID-19 impacts.
🔹 What’s the goal? We need to raise $75,000 to restore financial stability and continue providing essential programs, meals, and social services for seniors across Lethbridge.
🔹 How your support helps: Every contribution funds Meals on Wheels, diner programs, and the social connections that keep our seniors healthy and independent.

Join us today as we showcase the talent of local seniors at LSCO in recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day! There will be entertainment, connection, snacks and more!

We’re so proud of the work the Lethbridge Elder Abuse Response Network Case Managers and Coordinated Community Response members do every day to address elder abuse and support those experiencing it in our community, as well as surrounding areas. We are are thankful for those who refuse to stay silent about elder abuse, whether it was impacting themselves directly, or a loved one. For those out there who may not quite be ready to talk about it, LEARN will be here for you when you are. 💜

A huge thank you goes out to Servus Credit Union for providing the LSCO with a grant of $2,000 to support our subsidy!

This subsidy provides a discount on LSCO memberships to low income seniors who are experiencing financial barriers.
