Allied Arts Council Lethbridge Providing Leadership in Advancing and Enhancing the Arts in Lethbridge and southern Alberta.

The Allied Arts Council of Lethbridge was established on March 20, 1958, with the objectives to encourage arts activities in Lethbridge and the surrounding district; to coordinate activities of member organizations; and to cooperate with persons, groups and organizations in the promotion of arts activities.

Join us Thursday, June 11 from 5:00 to 6:00 pm for the LINE-UP BREAKDOWN for Upside Downtown 2026 on Rotary Square at Casa.

Alberta Artist-in-Residence and Upside Downtown Alumnus, John Wort-Hannam will be our featured performer, the AAC Bar will be open, and get ready to plan your Thursdays this summer!

Upside Downtown: Concerts + Art is thankful to FACTOR, WESTCO Construction, Spectrum Ale, Davis Auto Group and the Re-imagine Grant for the City of Lethbridge. Our funders and sponsors allow the AAC to keep these summer concerts free to the community.

Did you know about the Aspiring Artist Award and the Young Artist Award?

The Aspiring Artist Award acknowledges an emerging artist in grades 9 -12. The Young Artist Award acknowledges an emerging artist in our community between the ages of 18-35. open to all artistic disciplines. Recipients receive a $1000 to support their artistic practice. Nominations are accepted from the community, peers, and even the artists themselves!

In 2025, Kort Woycheshin was the Young Artist Award recipient. Watch this documentary short from Airau Marketing to learn more about Kort.

Nominations for the AACE - Allied Arts Council of Excellence Award Individual are now open. Send your nomination by June 1.

This award recognizes an individual who has made philanthropic and service contributions to the arts and thereby enhances the entire arts community.
