👉 Will you help Rebekah with funding this summer opportunity?

Having Rebekah on board helps our outreach workers carry forward the momentum we've built over the past year. She starts her first summer event on Friday June 26th by hosting the Summer Kick-Off Party at the Barn with a BBQ, karaoke, crafts, and an axe throwing tournament put on by our friends at club.

Can you help Rebekah with funding her 32 hours a week?

Rebekah has joined LYU as our 2026 Summer Student. She has a passion for connecting with youth and journeying alongside them through life’s ups and downs. Rebekah especially has a passion for connecting with youth from troubled backgrounds and is excited to be a part of building a safe space, encouraging a sense of belonging for all within LYU. With much hands-on experience working with children and teens, she’s already making a meaningful impact.

On Thursday, we celebrated our wonderful Administrative Assistant, Kara, as we gathered for lunch to send her off on maternity leave.

We are so grateful for all that Kara has done for LYU. Her kindness, dedication, and servant's heart are a blessing to our team and the youth we serve.

To help prepare for her newest adventure, we surprised her with boxes of diapers.

Please join us in congratulating Kara as she begins this exciting new chapter. We can't wait to meet the newest little member of the LYU family.

Don't miss our 2026 event, it's coming up on Friday, June 26 from 1-3 PM at the LYU Barn. Join us as we celebrate the start of summer break! There will be axe throwing, art, karaoke, and a BBQ. Free to attend. For youth in grades 6-12.
