-our dedicated volunteers that show up week after week, giving their hearts freely
-our sponsors, who provide for us, so we can do what we love to do
-every single blanket recipient; past, present, future. We know you’re going through one of the most difficult, challenging times in your life, we want you to know that you’re not alone, we’re here for you
-all of our supporters, locally & globally! Without you, we wouldn’t be here today

DYK that our Founder, Faith was only nine years old when she created Cuddles for Cancer?

What began as a summer project has grown into a recognized organization known around the world! To date, our blankets have been sent to over fifty countries worldwide and we’ve made more than 13,000 blankets! The majority of our blankets do remain locally in our community.

We believe that every blanket has a story, that’s 13,000 stories! 13,000 lives touched 🫶

This is what $1,000 worth of fleece looks like!

I was finally able to pick up all of the signature fleece for our blanket making session with the Peterborough Cadets this Fall, thanks to Angels of Flight. They generously sponsored the event!

And, I was able to purchase $500 worth of fleece for tomorrow’s blanket making session and next weeks! I was short $300, but I was able to put it on the C4C credit card.

Happy Sunday 💙 We hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

We need to pick up $500 worth of fleece tomorrow at Fabricland…we had a very generous donation of $200 come in on Friday, we’d love to meet our goal by tomorrow morning.

If you are in the position to make a donation, we would be grateful for your support.

DYK that for the past 14 years, we visit schools all over Ontario, making blankets together?

They raise the funds, we purchase the fleece and bring our scissors, then we lay out all of the supplies on the gym floor and the students make blankets with us. Then, we donate them all!

If any kids have a family member who are fighting cancer or just lost someone to cancer, we make sure we give them a blanket privately afterwards, and to their siblings as well.

We love what we do ❤️

(this includes public schools, private schools, Catholic schools and summer camps)

😃 It's finally here this weekend... see you at Peterborough's Dragon Boat Festival! 🚣‍♀️ The PRHC Foundation Dragon Boat team, Seas the Day, was on the water this week practicing ahead of Festival day tomorrow. 💗 We love participating in this amazing community event and we're so grateful to be the beneficiary. On behalf of PRHC Foundation, PRHC and cancer patients from across our region, thank you to the Festival organizing committee, Survivors Abreast, and all of the generous paddlers, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, donors, supporters and spectators who make the Festival such a success every year. 🤗 For 25 years, you’ve put time, energy and passion into raising funds, awareness and hope – a huge feat, essential to the cancer care available now and in the future at PRHC. 🏥 Thank you and ! 🎉 ptbodragonboat.ca
