🍝 A big thank you to everyone who came out to support our Noodles for a Need Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser on Friday!

We’re grateful to everyone who bought tickets, joined us for dinner, and helped make the evening a success. Your support helps Independent Living Sudbury Manitoulin continue its work in our community.

Behind the Scenes at Project Storm-Share!

With generous grant support from Eviance, our team at Independent Living Sudbury Manitoulin (ILSM) has officially launched Project Storm-Share—a cross-disability, mutual aid initiative focused on climate adaptation and peer-to-peer preparedness. Our incredible Climate Leadership Circle team has been hard at work packing up our new Project Storm-Share emergency packages!

From backup power banks for essential medical devices to waterproof window signal cards for storm check-ins, these kits are designed to keep our independent living community safe and connected during extreme weather.

A huge thank you to all our committee members for putting their time, care, and lived expertise into this project. Thank you, Eviance, for championing disability justice and funding projects that center the lived expertise of persons with disabilities.
