🔥 That’s a wrap on this year’s fundraiser season! 🔥

A huge thank you to Home Depot and everyone who came out to support us this past weekend. Our final BBQ fundraiser was a huge success, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day to finish off the year.

A special shoutout to Kris from Brogan Fire & Safety for helping on the grill, our amazing face painters, and all of the staff and volunteers who gave their time and energy throughout the day. Your support means so much to us.

As we close out this year’s fundraising efforts, we want to thank everyone who attended our events, volunteered, donated, sponsored, and supported us along the way. We truly couldn’t do it without this incredible community.

🌻 Join Us for the Sunrise Grows Community BBQ! 🌻

As summer begins, we invite our community to gather and celebrate the connections, partnerships, and people who help make Sunrise Grows flourish.

At Sunrise Grows, we value that closure is just as important as new beginnings. This BBQ will be an opportunity to express our gratitude and say goodbye to two team members, Jey and Cheri, as they embark on their next adventures. Through their dedication and compassion they have left a lasting impact on the youth we serve and the community around us. Many will also remember them as Jolly Jey and Cheri Belle, spreading holiday magic each year as our beloved Christmas elves.

We will also be recognizing our practicum students, whose hard work, creativity, and commitment have contributed so much to our programs as they continue their educational journeys.

At the same time, we are excited to welcome our summer students and new staff members as they begin their own journeys with us. Together, we'll celebrate the growth of our garden, the strength of our community partnerships, and the many hands that have helped Sunrise Grows become a place of connection, healing, and hope. Come enjoy a BBQ, explore the garden, meet community members, and help us celebrate both farewells and fresh beginnings.

Join us for the Sunrise Grows Community BBQ on June 22 from 1:00–4:00 PM as we celebrate the start of summer and the incredible community that helped bring our garden space to life.

This afternoon will be a chance to connect, welcome new faces, say goodbye to staff and students as they are moving on, recognize valued partners and volunteers, and celebrate the youth, staff, community members, and supporters who helped create Sunrise Grows.

A heartfelt thank you to Farm Credit Canada, West Coast Seeds, the Grande Prairie Garden Club, the City of Grande Prairie, Excalibur Builders, the Grande Prairie Home Builders' Association, RB Oilfield, and Liberty Energy for their generous contributions, expertise, and volunteer support.
