A shared vision for tourism in the North is what we're passionate about.

The Northern Sky Corridor spans a 1,500-kilometre scenic route from Edmonton into the Northwest Territories, connecting boreal forests, iconic northern landscapes, and Indigenous and cultural experiences.

The strategy for this aims to attract investment, support tourism development and grow the visitor economy in communities along the route, giving Canadian and international travelers more reasons to explore the North.

Walk the McNaught Homestead Preservation Society 2016 this fall. 🍂

Start in Beaverlodge, explore Main Street and shop local before continuing to the McNaught Homestead. Wander the historic site, follow the trails to the McNaught Lake boardwalk and take in the changing colours.

But don’t let your history lesson end there.

McNaught is just one of the museums, homesteads and heritage sites preserving the people and stories that shaped Northwest Alberta. Make it the first stop on a fall drive—or build an entire weekend around discovering our region’s past.
