Each offers age-appropriate activities, gentle peer connection, and trained facilitators who guide sessions with care. Day 2&3 Recap of My Heart & Art Camp!

From sewing and soap making to solving coping puzzles and talking about the “elephant in the room,” our campers have been learning that mental health can be explored in creative, hands-on ways. 🧩🪡🧼🐘

A huge thank you to Odyssey House for joining us and leading an important conversation about bullying, empathy, and creating safe spaces for everyone. 💙

Every activity helps our campers build resilience, confidence, and connections—and we’re loving every minute of it! 🌞 They all went home today with a FULL box of tools in their toolboxes to help with resilience in the future!

Day 1 of My Heart & Art Camp in partnership with Grande Prairie Family Education Society is in the books and wow was it a fun first day 🎉 The group got to do some string art and paint what emotions they feel in certain parts of their body 🎨

Big shout out to Men's Shed Grande Prairie for donating the nice blocks of wood and the hammers for our string art activity 🔨

🌿✨ The Friendship Project is back! ✨🌿

Join RCSP, the Friendship Centre, and Kickstand for camp! This four-day adventure is all about building connections, learning from the land, and creating memories.

Youth ages 11–13 will have the opportunity to:
🏕️ Learn about traditional teepee making and Indigenous culture
🌱 Visit both Saskatoon Island and Red Willow for outdoor exploration
🍞 Make their own bannock and enjoy hands-on cultural experiences
🌊 Participate in teachings by the river and connect with nature
🥾 Explore hiking, bush crafting, crafts, and games
💚 Take part in fun mental wellness activities focused on friendship, resilience, self-confidence, and emotional well-being

Whether your child loves the outdoors, wants to make new friends, or is looking for a unique summer experience, The Friendship Project offers a safe and welcoming space to learn, grow, and connect.
