We would like to thank all the candidates we met for their time, openness, and thoughtful conversations. These warm and cordial meetings provided a valuable opportunity to connect personally with each of them.

We would also like to congratulate Jean-François Arsenault and Frédéric Beauchemin, elected Members of Parliament for Granby and Brome-Missisquoi, respectively.

We look forward to working with them for the well-being of the people and families we support!

AMPLIFYING FAMILIES’ VOICES WHERE DECISIONS ARE MADE.

As part of the 2026 election, our Executive Director, Sophie, met with several candidates from Brome-Missisquoi and Haute-Yamaska to raise awareness of the realities faced by people living with a neurocognitive disorder and their caregivers.

These meetings provided an opportunity to highlight the needs we see on the ground, the challenges faced by families, and the importance of maintaining accessible, local services within our communities.

SABMHY continues to play an active role as a committed regional partner, bringing families’ voices forward and fostering dialogue with decision-makers on issues that directly affect our community.

Because the realities experienced on the ground deserve to be heard.

We sincerely thank all the candidates we met with for their openness, their willingness to listen, and the quality of our discussions. These meaningful conversations provided a valuable opportunity to connect with each of them and share the realities facing our community.

We would also like to congratulate Mr. Jean-François Arsenault and Mr. Frédéric Beauchemin on their election as Members of the National Assembly for Granby and Brome-Missisquoi.

SABMHY will be there to continue the dialogue and work alongside elected representatives and regional partners for the well-being of the people we support and their families.

🍎❤️ APPLES, SMILES AND MEMORIES TO CHERISH! ❤️🍎

Last Wednesday, our first annual apple-picking outing at Le Roi de la Fraise gave us so much more than an afternoon at the orchard… It gave us the opportunity to share precious moments filled with smiles, laughter, cherished memories and, above all, love. 🥰🍂

It’s often these simple moments that mean the most. Heartfelt conversations, sparkling eyes, bursts of laughter and the joy of being together… These are the moments that make days like this so special! 💜

A heartfelt THANK YOU to the entire team at the Société Alzheimer Brome-Missisquoi et Haute-Yamaska (SABMHY), whose presence, kindness and dedication make such a meaningful difference. Thank you as well to everyone who joined us and helped make this afternoon so warm and memorable.
