Learn the tech words everyone uses, but few people explain. What is the cloud, and where do my photos actually go? What are cookies, and should I accept them? Should I be using Data or Wi-Fi? No jargon left unexplained, and no such thing as a silly question.

11:15am to noon - Let’s Thrive Together: Reimagining How Food Works
Explore the journey of Greener Village, the current food security and environmental landscape, and the development of the Thrive Food Rescue Centre. Discover practical ways individuals, organizations, and businesses can help reduce food waste and strengthen food security in our community

12:15pm to 1pm - Stay Out of Fraud’s Reach
Frauds and scams come in many different forms, so they can sometimes be difficult to spot. Attendees will be able to protect themselves by learning about:
• common types of frauds and scams
• spotting the red flags of fraud
• recognizing signs of financial abuse
• reporting frauds and scams See less

What a great October meeting! We’re so grateful to Denise for hosting and were thrilled to welcome a potential new member, Heather Scott! We hope you enjoyed getting to know us and seeing what IODE is all about. 😊
There was lots of energy and enthusiasm as we made plans for our October donations and activities, and worked together to make sure everything is ready for the upcoming Evergreen Tour. 🍁 Thank you Robyn and Regina for the wonderful refreshments.

IODE Shepody Chapter (Dorchester, NB) is pleased to make a donation of books to the Roots of Empathy program at Dorchester Consolidated School.
