Today, NurtureBridge Foundation joins Canadians across the country in observing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
We honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, their families, and Indigenous communities. We recognize that reconciliation requires more than remembrance. It calls on all of us to listen, learn, reflect, and take meaningful action.
As an organization committed to strengthening communities and creating opportunities for brighter tomorrows, NurtureBridge Foundation stands in solidarity with First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples and recognizes the importance of truth, healing, respect, and reconciliation.

Today, we encourage our community to:
• Learn about the history and ongoing impacts of residential schools.
• Listen to Indigenous voices, stories, and lived experiences.
• Reflect on our individual and collective roles in reconciliation.
• Take action by supporting Indigenous communities, organizations, businesses, artists, and initiatives.
• Carry reconciliation beyond September 30, because meaningful change requires an ongoing commitment.
May we continue building communities where dignity is honoured, cultures are respected, voices are heard, and everyone has the opportunity to belong and thrive.
