Need help with your taxes or have questions about your CRA account? Come visit us at Cowichan Independent Living for a free drop-in clinic with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).

Services include help with:
• Tax slips and information
• Notices of Assessment and CRA correspondence
• Benefits and credits, including DTC, CCB, GST/HST Credit and CWB

Please bring any ID you have. What’s required will depend on the services you need.

⚠️Our region is expected to experience above-seasonal temperatures, with daytime highs of 30°C or more and warm overnight temperatures.
Extreme heat can affect everyone. If you need a place to cool down, Cowichan Tribes is opening a Cooling Centre at the Si'em Lelum Gym Dining Hall on:

Wednesday, July 22 2026 from 10:00am to 8:00pm
and
Thursday, July 23 2026 from 10:00am to 8:00pm

Make sure to contact our office at 778-901-9111 if you need support arranging a ride.

In honour of International Overdose Awareness Day, we invite you to join us for Purple Ribbon Day on Saturday, August 29th, 2026. 11am-3pm at Charles Hoey Park (124 Canada Ave) in Duncan. A time to be together in community, to remember loved ones and hold space, and to look to the future with hope for change.

11am- Opening Ceremony with Tzinquaw Dancers and Drummers
12pm- Free BBQ begins
All Day - Memorial tent, service provider booths, art, music, and prize basket giveaways
