Save the Date, August 31 - A Walk for J in Crofton 💜
"First started back in Winnipeg in 2018 to honour my sister Jeni and all others lost to the rising opioid and toxic drug crisis, this is a day to remember and raise awareness on International Overdose Awareness Day. I will have tables set up by the Crofton sign with resources and information where I will be handing out purple ribbons and purple glow stick necklaces to wear on the walk up the sea walk at dusk. Bring photos of your lost loved ones if you wish, I’ll have a piece of purple driftwood to sign the names of lost loved ones on which will be placed in the water at the beach. There will be performances and community cake before the walk"
