🌾❤️ COMMUNITY GENEROSITY IN ACTION — $39,003.37 RAISED! ❤️🌾

What an incredible result for the Dauphin & District Community Food Bank! 💙

We are thrilled to share that this community-driven farmland fundraiser has raised a grand total of $39,003.37 to help support local families and individuals facing food insecurity! 🌱👏

What started with the generous donation of 70 acres of farmland by Mike Potoroka grew into something truly special — a powerful example of what can happen when a community comes together for a common cause.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this project such a success:

🌾 Mike Potoroka — for donating the farmland and making this initiative possible.

🚜 Don Dewar & Dewar Seed Farms — for seeding the land and contributing the equipment and labour to bring this project to life.

🌱 Intermountain Ag Supply — for providing seed and crop protection products.

⛽ Dauphin Co-op — for contributing fuel and fertilizer.

🪧 Betty & Al Dunsmore — for covering the signage costs.

🌾 Cargill Grain — for handling the crop delivery and purchase after harvest.

🏛️ The City of Dauphin — for its consideration and support of this community initiative.

And to everyone else who played a part, offered support, or helped spread the word — THANK YOU! 💙

Most importantly, thank you to everyone whose generosity and hard work helped turn 70 acres of farmland into $39,003.37 for our local food bank. These funds will help the Dauphin & District Community Food Bank continue its important work of supporting those in need throughout our community and surrounding areas.

This is what community spirit looks like. Neighbours helping neighbours. Local businesses stepping up. People working together to make a real difference.

🏒💚A HUGE thank-you to the guys from the DRCSS Clippers High School Hockey Team for lending a hand at our intake night! We truly appreciate you taking the time to come out and help.

Having all those extra muscles on hand was a BIG help! 💪😂 All that heavy lifting was made a whole lot easier with your strength, teamwork, and willingness to pitch in!

Thanks for showing that being a Clipper is about more than just hockey — it’s about being part of a great community! 💚👏

GREAT OPPORTUNITY for your preschooler!!

MVSD Activity Time Registration is now open for the 2026-2027 school year.

If your child is born in 2022 you are welcome to register at www.mvsd.ca. Registration is required to receive your code to access a private video at your convenience. Supplies will be provided for you to pick up at your local elementary school. There is no cost to participate.
