South Parkland Healthy Child Coalition There are four principles which guide our activity. The Parkland Healthy Child Coalition encourages children to be:

1. Healthy - Emotionally and Physically

The Parkland Healthy Child Coalition is involved in supporting the development and implementation of programs that enhance the lives of children aged 0-5 years and their families. Safe and secure

3. Successful at learning

4. Socially engaged and responsible. In order to support these outcomes the Parkland Healthy Child Coalition provides grants to locally-based projects and programs throughout t

he region. Coalition Grants are available for any Program/Project that supports the Coalition mandate to:

• Benefit children aged 0-5 years
• Encourage participation by all families in the community
• Promote cooperation and sharing among community organizations
• Promote Cognitive and language development of participants • Promote positive parenting practices

BIG NEWS for the Parkland!

The Oksana & Quinn Dutchyshen Memorial Splashpark, located in Gilbert Plains, is now OPEN for the season.

Be sure to take the family for an adventure to the Splash Park - you won't regret it.

There is also a playground right next to the Splash Park.

Be sure to stop in at the Golf Course for lunch or supper, after your family fun.
