We are here to provide programs and services to our community and surrounding area based on the needs of our clients.

We are always doing something new and exciting so come on down and see what we have to offer. We also offer programming from our Youth and Family Centre, which is on the same property as our main building. We are happy to help anyone whether they be a resident of the City of Dauphin, the South Parkland, or where ever you may be visiting us from. Our programs and services are open to Everyone! We are attempting to offer many of our programs and services during Covid, and are working hard to keep our doors open to the public. Please respect any of the rules we may have in place as they are there to protect your health and that of your family and friends.

🌾❤️ COMMUNITY GENEROSITY IN ACTION — $39,003.37 RAISED! ❤️🌾

What an incredible result for the Dauphin & District Community Food Bank! 💙

We are thrilled to share that this community-driven farmland fundraiser has raised a grand total of $39,003.37 to help support local families and individuals facing food insecurity! 🌱👏

What started with the generous donation of 70 acres of farmland by Mike Potoroka grew into something truly special — a powerful example of what can happen when a community comes together for a common cause.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this project such a success:

🌾 Mike Potoroka — for donating the farmland and making this initiative possible.

🚜 Don Dewar & Dewar Seed Farms — for seeding the land and contributing the equipment and labour to bring this project to life.

🌱 Intermountain Ag Supply — for providing seed and crop protection products.

⛽ Dauphin Co-op — for contributing fuel and fertilizer.

🪧 Betty & Al Dunsmore — for covering the signage costs.

🌾 Cargill Grain — for handling the crop delivery and purchase after harvest.

🏛️ The City of Dauphin — for its consideration and support of this community initiative.

And to everyone else who played a part, offered support, or helped spread the word — THANK YOU! 💙

Most importantly, thank you to everyone whose generosity and hard work helped turn 70 acres of farmland into $39,003.37 for our local food bank. These funds will help the Dauphin & District Community Food Bank continue its important work of supporting those in need throughout our community and surrounding areas.

What an amazing weekend at our Elder & Youth Gathering! We were so happy to see such wonderful attendance and to bring Elders and youth together for a weekend of connection, sharing, learning, and community.

Some of the highlights included our community art project, which turned out beautifully, and our Ask an Elder, Ask a Youth activity. It was so special to see Elders and youth share their ideas, experiences and hopes for the future.

We were also proud to have six Friendship Centres represented at our gathering! It was wonderful to welcome everyone and see the connections and relationships being built among our communities.

A huge thank you to all the Elders, youth, Knowledge Keepers, Rod & Donna from Swan Valley CMHA, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this gathering such a success. Your time, knowledge, participation, and support made the weekend truly special. Special thank you to Shawn Charlebois from Red Road Compass for providing workshops, leading sharing circles and assisting wherever needed and to DFC Youth Rep, Maddie Amyotte and DFC Youth Council for all your volunteer time spent on this project.

Bringing generations together to share knowledge, strengthen relationships, and celebrate our cultures is something worth cherishing. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event so memorable!
