Yesterday Premier Wab Kinew announced at the Brandon Chamber of Commerce luncheon a new Primary Care Paramedic program coming to Assiniboine. The first intake will be at our Parkland campus in Dauphin in January 2027! The program will operate with a rural rotating delivery, allowing students across western Manitoba to train closer to home.

This investment from the Province of Manitoba helps grow a skilled workforce and support community needs. We’re proud to be part of building a stronger, more connected health-care system.

Applications for the program in Dauphin will be open soon. For more information, visit: https://assiniboine.net/programs/primary-care-paramedic
