The Dauphin & District Community Foundation office is now located on the west side of City Hall — and we’re loving the new space!

In support of Tim Horton's Smile Cookie Campaign which has selected Countryfest Community Cinema to be the recipient of this year's fundraiser, we are so excited to have picked up the first part of nearly 50 dozen cookies that we will be delivering this afternoon.

Amazing work by Christopher Tan of Tim Horton's, and Carla Steiner, board member of Countryfest Community Cinema, and their teams, and thank you Greg Crisanti, owner.

This past weekend, six members from the Dauphin & District Community Foundation attended the Endow Manitoba Community Foundation Conference in Winnipeg, alongside approximately 200 community foundation leaders and staff from across the province.

It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new people doing incredible work in their communities, and take part in inspiring sessions, guest speakers, and meaningful conversations.

We’re grateful to The Winnipeg Foundation and Endow Manitoba for organizing such an excellent and impactful weekend. We came home inspired, energized, and proud to be part of a network that continues to strengthen communities across Manitoba!

“I am the Executive Director of the Dauphin Friendship Centre, where I have worked for nearly 20 years. Over the course of my career with the organization, I previously served as the Financial Administrator and Program Coordinator before stepping into the Executive Director role last year.

I was born and raised in Dauphin and chose to raise my family here with my husband. Being part of this community, both personally and professionally, is something I value deeply. I’m excited to further support the community by serving on this board.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with a good book and travelling whenever I have the opportunity.” 💛

"Born and raised here in Dauphin, I am proud to have returned home in 2022 with my wife and daughter. Since then we have added a son to our family and we look forward to raising our kids together in a community that has so much to offer. My connection to the Dauphin and District Community Foundation runs deep—my grandfather, Larry Love, was one of the original founders back in 1995. I’m truly honoured to carry on his legacy and help contribute to the future of the community I grew up in."
