Nazareth to Replace Loverboy at Rock the Harbour 2026 This August
Due to a medical situation with one of the band members, Loverboy has had to cancel. They’re looking forward to seeing their fans on the road again soon.
Rock the Harbour is pleased to announce that legendary Scottish rock band Nazareth will now join the festival lineup, taking the stage on Sunday, August 16, 2026, as part of the three-day classic rock festival on the Downtown Dartmouth Waterfront.
Nazareth is known around the world for classic rock staples including “Love Hurts,” “Hair of the Dog,” “This Flight Tonight,” and “Dream On.” With a catalogue that has helped define generations of rock music, Nazareth is set to deliver a powerful Sunday night performance for Rock the Harbour fans.
“While we know many fans were looking forward to seeing Loverboy, we are sending our best wishes to the band and are grateful to welcome Nazareth to the Rock the Harbour 2026 lineup,” said Bea MacGregor, Alderney Landing CEO. “Nazareth is a legendary act with an incredible catalogue of songs, and we know they will bring an unforgettable rock experience to the Dartmouth waterfront.”
All previously purchased tickets remain valid. Fans who purchased tickets for Sunday, August 16 or weekend passes do not need to take any action.
Rock the Harbour 2026 takes place August 14–16, 2026, at Alderney Landing in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The festival will feature three days of classic rock, including Helix, Kim Mitchell, Nazareth, Lee Aaron, Nick Gilder & Sweeney Todd, Haywire, Toronto the Legacy, Spoons, Titan, and Michelle Ryder & Side Hustle.
