GEO Nova Scotia has been named a finalist for the Not-for-Profit Business of the Year at the Halifax Chamber of Commerce 2026 Business Awards!

Three afternoons, so many perspectives, and so much to take forward.

A HUGE thank you to all our speakers and panelists for sharing your expertise, experiences, and ideas!

And to everyone who joined us, asked questions, and kept the conversations going: thank you for inspiring us to continue the work.

You helped make this year’s Forum a space to learn, connect, and imagine what’s possible when more people have access to the digital world.

From health and wellbeing to employment and opportunity, one message carried across all three days: digital inclusion touches every part of our lives, and we all have a role in moving it forward.

From October 1–31, you can help more Nova Scotians stay connected to loved ones, healthcare, employment opportunities, and everyday essentials.

Donated phones and tablets are collected, assessed and refurbished, then distributed through our network of more than 130 referral partners to Nova Scotians who need them.

There are three easy ways to take part:

The countdown is ON! 🎉 We’re officially ONE WEEK away from GEO Forum 2026!

Join us for three FREE, virtual afternoons exploring how digital inclusion is the Super Social Determinant of Health. With an incredible lineup of speakers from across Canada and around the world, there’s plenty to look forward to!

We’ll also celebrate the winners of the 2026 Nova Scotia Digital Inclusion Awards throughout the Forum, with two award announcements each day:

We’re proud to have helped shape a new AI learning program for Canada’s nonprofit sector!

As one of 10 community partners, our team contributed to the Canadian Centre for Nonprofit Digital Resilience 's Nonprofit AI Skilling Program, sharing our experience to help make it practical and relevant for the people doing this important work.

With tracks for staff and leaders, the program helps nonprofits explore how AI can support their work and build the skills to use it responsibly.
