With daylight ending earlier, take a few minutes to think about how changing light conditions could affect the work being done.

✅ Check work-site lighting
✅ Make sure workers are visible
✅ Watch for changing visibility and site hazards
✅ Talk about the time change at your next toolbox talk

Turning back the clocks is a good reminder to look around and make adjustments before conditions become hazards.

Today, the Workplace Safety and Insurance System (WSIS) held its Annual General Meeting, bringing together partners from across Nova Scotia's workplace safety system.

The event provided an opportunity to connect, exchange information, and discuss positive changes within Nova Scotia's workplace safety and insurance system.

CSNS participated as an exhibitor, sharing information on our training opportunities and resources while supporting awareness of the Respectful Workplace Employer & Industry Survey and silica safety.
