The Legion’s 2026 National Poppy Campaign is launching on October 24! And volunteers across the country are ramping up their efforts.

What can be expected for the 2026 Poppy Campaign? Traditional Poppy boxes will be available at thousands of locations around the country, as well at tap-enabled donation options. Canadians will also be able to donate online, as well as get their Poppies delivered directly to them via Amazon.

And don’t forget, the National Remembrance Day Ceremony will be held on November 11th, 2026. If you would like to find the Remembrance Day Ceremony happening in your community, use our Ceremony Locator tool, by visiting: https://www.legion.ca/remembrance/remembrance-day/remembrance-day-ceremonies

As a result of the length of the 2026 Poppy Campaign we have a shortage of drivers. We intend to give each driver a small gas gift card. If you are able to help out the Poppy Campaign please call 902-404-3011. Duty drivers have a reserved parking spot outside the legion front door.
Drivers;
Report to the Poppy Office each morning and deliver the Tip Tap boxes to each of the venues.
At night return boxes to the legion office.
Duty driver also remains with their phone and will be called upon when any venue requires poppy resources.(Pins, bracelets, etc)
Thank You

A reminder from The Royal Canadian Legion.

With the Poppy Campaign and Remembrance Day approaching, you will begin to see a variety of retailers popping up illegally selling products using the Poppy for profit. (flags, hats, shirts, blankets, jewelry etc.)

The reason The Royal Canadian Legion holds the trademark on the Poppy is to ensure this sacred symbol of Remembrance is used with respect and to protect it from unauthorized retailers who use the symbol inappropriately.

When purchasing your Remembrance items, please ensure they are from an authorized source - such as www.poppystore.ca, www.amazon.ca/legion , or your local Legion Branch. When you shop through these channels, you can be confident that proceeds go directly to the Legion, helping us continue our important work with and for Canada’s Veterans.
