Today, we’re celebrating the incredible young people in our community who are making a difference — including our Youth In Policing Initiative (YIPI) ambassadors!

Our YIPI Ambassadors are putting their leadership and community spirit into action today with a charity BBQ in support of Maison Baldwin House.

📍 340 Pitt Street — outside police headquarters & City Hall

Come by, grab some food, say hello to our YIPI ambassadors and help support a great local cause! All proceeds will go to Baldwin House in The City of Cornwall.

We’re proud to see our youth stepping up, giving back and helping make our community stronger.

Big thank you to Walmart Logistics Cornwall for supporting Maison Baldwin House with their annual Softball Tournament! They collected many necessities for the shelter and our clients and dropped it off this morning.
What a fun way to support the shelter! ⚾️

A Message of Gratitude and Farewell

After 43 years with Maison Baldwin House, I will be retiring as Executive Director on July 5th 2026.
As I reflect on this journey, I am filled with gratitude for the incredible support our community has shown Maison Baldwin House over the years. Your generosity, compassion, and commitment have helped us provide safety, hope and healing to countless women and children.
It has been a privilege to guide the organization through many years of growth and expansion, always with the best interest of the women and children we serve at the heart of every decision. Together, we have strengthened programs and services to support those leaving gender -based violence and human trafficking, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to rebuild their lives.
I am immensely proud of what I have accomplished together and deeply grateful to our Staff, Volunteers, Board Members, Community Partners, Donors and Supporters who have shared in this important work.
As I step into retirement I do so with confidence in the future of Maison Baldwin House and wish the agency continued success as it navigates the years ahead., continuing its vital mission to help this vulnerable population.
While I am retiring, my heart will always remain with Maison Baldwin House. Thank you for allowing me the privilege of serving this community for more than 4 decades.
