👏 Smoke on the Seaway Grand Total👏

We are thrilled to announce the inaugural Smoke on the Seaway Event that took place on May 9th was a smash success, raising $23,860.02 in support of Maison Baldwin House!

Thank you to Mat Bbqwithdrew Drouin for organizing an amazing KCBS Barbecue Competition that drew teams from far and near (the Grand Champions came all the way from Maryland!)

Thank you to AlainCowboy Bussieres and Sue Adams from For Bikers by Bikers for organizing the awesome Show & Shine that had over 200 motorcycles show up!

Thank you to all of our sponsors, all the vendors and food trucks who showed up, all the BBQ Competitors, the Canadian KCBS reps, the kids who participated in the Kid's 'Cue Challenge, our esteemed People's Choice Judges, the Cornwall Tourism Development Fund for believing in our event, the volunteers who helped us all day, our contacts at the City and EOHU for helping us run a safe and successful event, and to every single person who supported Smoke on the Seaway by coming out!

🎨 Learning Through Art with Purpose 🎨

Mrs. Merizzi and Mr. Carriere’s Art classes recently explored an important and impactful topic—the reality of human trafficking in our world and community.

With a powerful presentation by Danielle McCormick, Coordinator at Maison Baldwin, students gained meaningful insight into this serious issue. Inspired by the White Pant Project, they transformed their understanding into creative works of art that help raise awareness and educate others on this sensitive subject.

We are so proud of our students for using their voices and talents to make a difference. ❤️

We're all set for our third day of Anti-Human Trafficking presentations at St. Matthew Catholic Secondary School.

Our goal is provide youth with the knowledge they need to keep themselves and each other safe, online and in-person.
