We were so excited to be invited to see the new communication board at Avonmore Elementary School - UCDSB! Inspired by their visit to Rachel’s Kids Park of Hope, these students were determined to have a communication board of their own!!! And we were happy to help out. Beyond the playground, copies of the board are also displayed in various areas throughout the school. What a wonderful example of inclusivity! We are so proud of our friends at Avonmore Elementary!

Through our “Helping Hands Program”, we were contacted about a wonderful local child who urgently needed a specialized activity chair to stay safe during meals and daily activities.

Because he lives with Autism Spectrum Disorder, he is very active and does not always recognize safety risks. He had outgrown his regular high chair and was able to tip it over, creating a serious choking and injury risk.

We were honoured to help. We were able to help…because of the support WE receive from YOU, our followers and donors.

Recently, we purchased this much-needed activity chair, bringing both safety for him and peace of mind for his family.

The chair provides supportive seating with a secure harness, helping him remain safely seated and calm during snacks, meals, and activity time while reducing the risk of falls or choking.

If you know a local child with special needs or a terminal illness, whose family could use support, please reach out. 🖤💛
