Summer Tag League PLAYOFF FINALS: Tomorrow at 1:00 PM!

Tomorrow is the big day! It’s Week 2—the final round of our 2026 Summer Tag League Playoffs and our last official tag round of the summer!

Whether you're looking to beat your Week 1 score, make your final tag push, or throw for the Ace Pot, come out and finish the summer strong!

🎯 Scores to Beat (Week 1 Leaderboard):

Remember, the playoff format is Best Single Round—your lowest 21-hole score across both weeks determines the final standings! Here is the target line set in each division from Week 1:

🥇 Division A Target: -8
🥈 Division B Target: +5
🌟 Junior Division Target: +1
🌸 Women's Division Target: +11

If you played Week 1, tomorrow is your shot to top your score. If you couldn't make it last Sunday, tomorrow is your official qualifying round!

2026 Corner Brook Tag League Playoffs: Round 1 Kickoff!

The regular season is in the books, and it’s time to crown our 2026 Division Champions! The 2-Week Playoff kicks off THIS SUNDAY!

How The Playoffs Work:

1. Two Skill Divisions (A & B):

* Players are seeded into Division A or Division B based on their regular season scoring average.

* Newer/Wildcard players (under 3 regular season rounds) default to Division A to keep Division B fair for regular intermediate players.

2. Best Single Round Format:

* You get two chances to post your best score: Week 1 (Aug 23) & Week 2 (Aug 30).

* Your lowest single 21-hole score across the two weeks counts as your final playoff score!

* Flexible Schedule: Play both Sundays to give yourself two shots at the top score, or come out for just one week and still qualify!

3. Tags & Ace Pot:

* Tags will be collected before tee-off each week and redistributed as usual at the end of each round.

* Bring your $1 for the weekly Ace Pot! 💸

After an awesome weekend away for the Jigs & Wheels MVP Circuit Challenge, Sunday Tag League is BACK tomorrow!

Huge shout-out again to Nick Hussey who snagged that $100 Ace Pot during our last tag round! But don't put away those aggressive line discs just yet—thanks to some fast-growing momentum, the Ace Pot is ALREADY back up to $68! 💸

Free Disc Golf Learn to Play Event!

As part of the Jigs and Wheels festival, the Corner Brook Disc Golf Club is hosting a free introductory session for anyone interested in trying out the sport.

Free Putters: We are giving away free putters to participants at the event (while supplies last), thanks for Corner Brook Recreation and Tourism and Disc Golf NL. All other necessary equipment will also be provided, and club members will be on-site to teach the basics of throwing, putting, and course rules.
