Just wanted to send out a large Thank You to all the coaches, parents, and athletes who came out on Sunday to get the Biathlon Range ready for the 2026/2027 season at Blow Me Down Trails. The grass has been mowed, the targets sanded and painted, new backboards installed for the paper targets, the firing line has been straightened out and the Biathlon hut has been cleaned.
Thank you so much for this as a little maintenance every year will continue to allow us to enjoy many years of practice. It is very important as this is the only biathlon range in our province.

THANK YOU to Zwitchback physiotherapy + health and to Justin Whittle for an EXCELLENT session on importance strength training for all athletes! We know our athletes learned lots. Those new to strength training are excited to get started and those who have been at it a while are excited to see how far they can go!

Good day, everyone!

Our local biathlon athletes could use your support.

Their fundraising dollars go toward athletes, coach training, travel, and training expenses. We are 100% volunteer based, and while they do get a stipend from the government, it does not begin to cover even half of their needs. So If you haven't yet purchased your tickets for the Dinner and Silent Auction happening on April 18, please consider doing so as the deadline to purchase (April 14) is quickly approaching! Tickets are available at Blow Me Down Trails or by contacting them at [email protected].

They also have another initiative starting this week and that's a 50/50 cash draw. Tickets are $5 each and the winner's prize is a possible $2500. Draw date will be happening on May 6, but with only 1000 tickets printed, we hope to sell out quickly!
