It’s that time of year again! We are so excited to once again host our Easter extravaganza with visits from the Easter Bunny and our Princesses!

This is a free event taking place on Saturday, April 4, starting at 10:30 AM. This event will take place on the second floor of the Corner Brook Public Library.

Attendees are welcome to bring non-perishable food donations, but it is not mandatory!

We are excited to share that we’re bringing back a Corner Brook favourite, this time for Winter Carnival!

Event Details:

🗓️: Saturday, February 28
🕰️: 11 AM
📍: Corner Brook Public Library
💲: This is a free event, while we will be accepting non-perishable food items, they are not required!

Come meet some of your favourite Royal characters, take photos, take part in activities, make your own crown and hear stories told to by our princesses!

Our first Winter Carnival event in the books!

We had so much fun taking the name Winter Carnival literally and hosting a carnival of our own with games, cotton candy, face painting and so much more! If you missed this event, don’t worry, we have two more coming up next weekend.

The Kids Carnival:
Saturday, February 21, 11:00 AM
Vine Place Community Center

A free and fun carnival experience featuring balloon animals, free cotton candy, carnival games, carnival-themed decor, face painting and more!

The Royal Snow Ball:
Saturday, February 28, 11:00 AM
Corner Brook Public Library

We’re bringing back a crowd favourite and inviting all of you to come to our free Princess Meet & Greet, with music, activities, and more!

Closing Ceremonies:
Sunday, March 1, 2-4 PM
Royal Canadian Legion

This year, Holidays For Hope will be attending the Closing Ceremonies and bringing a few of our princesses too!

For the second year in a row we’re giving back to the community this Valentine’s Day by making sure everyone feels loved!

This past winter break, our team of student volunteers spent some of their time off hanging out with some of the incredible senior members of our community!

Holidays For Hope Events Director Grace Brake-Higgins and community member Skylar Winsor, came to Holidays For Hope with an idea that truly inspired us and we knew we had to support!

For this first visit our team members painted nails, played games, sang songs, listened/told stories, dressed as mummers to make a show stopping entrance and got to know some of the residents!

Huge thank you to everyone who made this possible and thank you to the residents having a blast with us! We are so excited to see you all again soon!

This year, thanks to the incredible support from the community, Holidays For Hope gathered over 130 non-perishable food items at our annual Holiday House event!

Not to mention the countless cards that were created and handed out to individuals who were away from home for the holidays as well as senior citizens within our community!

Thank you to everyone who attended the event as well as the City of Corner Brook for their support!
