🏊 There will be no swim lessons on the statutory holiday.

🧟‍♀️🎃 A LITTLE BEHIND THE SCENES OF OUR THRILLER FLASH MOB! 🎃🧟‍♂️

The dancing was just one part of the fun! ❤️

From the practice sessions over the past two months to the excitement before we performed and all the smiles afterwards, these moments are what make the Bettie Allard YMCA community so special.

It takes teamwork, commitment, a little courage, and a whole lot of laughter to bring something like this together!

I'm so proud of everyone who joined in, stepped outside their comfort zone, and helped create another unforgettable Halloween memory with us.

These are the moments that remind us that the YMCA is so much more than a place to exercise. It's a place to belong, build friendships, try new things, and be part of something bigger.

To our amazing members: THANK YOU for bringing your energy, enthusiasm, and wonderful personalities through our doors every day!

🎃🧟‍♂️ THRILLER AT BETTIE ALLARD YMCA! 🧟‍♀️🎃

Because at the Bettie Allard YMCA, we don't just work out together… WE DANCE, WE LAUGH, WE CONNECT, AND WE HAVE FUN! 🖤

For the past two months, a group of our amazing members and I have been practising the ORIGINAL THRILLER dance, and after bringing it to life last year, we decided it was time to make it a tradition! This year, we brought everyone together for a surprise Halloween FLASH MOB! 👻

The smiles, the energy, the teamwork, and the willingness to step outside our comfort zones and just HAVE FUN are what make this community so special.

This is what the YMCA is all about. It's more than fitness. It's friendships, belonging, trying something new, supporting one another, and creating memories that bring us together.

A HUGE shout-out to everyone who practised, participated, and made this happen. You all absolutely ROCKED IT! ❤️

🧟‍♀️🎵 Something spooky is coming to the Bettie Allard YMCA! 🎵🧟‍♂️

Join us on Thursday, October 29 as approximately 50 YMCA members come together for a special Thriller Flash Mob in our front lobby between 9:00 AM and 9:15 AM!

🎥 Filming will be taking place during the performance, and lobby access will be temporarily restricted during this time.

If you're planning a visit, please arrive before 9:00 AM or after 9:15 AM.

We can't wait to bring a little Halloween spirit to the Y! 🎃👻

🎉💙 Meet Our Children, Youth & Family Team! 💙🎉

Behind every great program, memorable activity, and smiling face at the Coquitlam Bettie Allard YMCA is an incredible team dedicated to creating positive experiences for children, youth, and families in our community.

Recently, our Children, Youth and Family team took some time to celebrate their birthdays together with a fun team-building activity. The challenge? Drawing portraits of each other! 🎨😂 Let's just say there were plenty of laughs, creative interpretations, and unforgettable masterpieces.

Moments like these remind us that while our team works hard every day to support families, they also know how to have fun, build connections, and create memories together.

We're so grateful for this amazing group and the energy, creativity, and care they bring to our YMCA every day. If you see them around the centre, be sure to say hello! 👋
