Well we spent the day working the forest, river banks where we could get to it. Canoeing the riverbank. We were not successful in a find but we did clear some more areas. The search for Whyette will continue until we bring him home. Just wish mother nature would get along with us.

Cold Lake Search and Rescue is excited to be part of Co-op Fuel Good Day on the 15th of September!

When you fuel up at the Cold Lake Co-op location, a portion of the proceeds goes back to local community organizations — and your support helps Cold Lake Search and Rescue continue providing emergency response, search operations, training, and public safety support throughout our region.

Every litre purchased helps volunteers stay trained, equipped, and ready to respond when someone is lost, injured, or in need of assistance.

How you can help:
-Fuel up at Cold Lake Co-op
-Share this post to spread the word

We are incredibly grateful to Lakeland Co-op and to our community for supporting local volunteer organizations that work every day to keep our region safe.

Thank you for helping us continue our mission: "So Others May Live"

BIG NEWS FROM COLD LAKE SEARCH AND RESCUE!

We are proud to announce that Cold Lake Search and Rescue is now a registered charitable organization!

This is an exciting milestone for our team and our community. Becoming a registered charity allows us to continue strengthening our search and rescue capabilities, expand training opportunities, improve equipment and resources, and better serve the residents and visitors of the Cold Lake region and surrounding areas.

As a charitable organization, donations made to Cold Lake Search and Rescue may now be eligible for an official charitable tax receipt in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency regulations.

Our volunteers dedicate countless hours to ground search, emergency response, public safety, and community support, and this new status will help ensure that we can continue providing these essential services for years to come.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way — our volunteers, families, partner agencies, local businesses, sponsors, and community members. Your encouragement and generosity have helped make this achievement possible.

Reach out to us to learn about how you can support Cold Lake Search and Rescue through donations, sponsorships, fundraising initiatives, and community partnerships.

Together, we can continue to make a difference when it matters most.

Stage 1 of improving the drainage at the mountain bike park. Special thanks to Nelson for coming out with his mini excavator and doing the hard work for us. Tomorrow morning we start putting in the culverts, bury everything and put it all back together.
