Lakeland Centre for FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder) This team is mobile and travels throughout the Lakeland area. Referrals can be made by calling the Centre and discussing your situation in confidence.

The Centre offers Diagnostic Services for children and adults; resource information; resource development; a mothers-to-be mentorship program, 2nd Floor Women's Recovery and Summer camp for Children with FASD. Diagnostic and Assessment for Children and Adults

The LCFASD coordinates a multidisciplinary FASD Diagnostic and Assessment Team for children and adults in the service area.

Our 2nd Floor Women’s Recovery Centre specializes in working with clients who present complex challenges, including polysubstance use, FASD diagnoses, acute mental health challenges, trauma, and pregnancy. 💟

Our approach is uniquely tailored to identify and bridge the gaps in service that our clients have experienced prior to arriving at the 2nd Floor, ensuring comprehensive support.

Here are some facts about the 2nd Floor! 👇
- Women served to date (2012-2025): 391 and counting!
- Percentage of clients with FASD or possible FASD to date: 73.5%
- Average length of clients stay at the 2nd Floor: 54.8 days
- Percentage of clients with a mental health diagnosis: 100%
- Percentage of clients who are pregnant at intake: 27.4%
