On this Transgender Day of Visibility. We remember that trans people have always existed.

There are many cultures that have celebrated trans people and given them station above others as Souls that embody elements of masculine and feminine and all that lies between.

The Two-spirit peoples of indigenous cultures, non-binary and gender fulid folk, trans women and men, agender folk are all beautiful and add wonderful and unique perspectives of our human existence

Being visible is not always safe. Being uniquely your authentic self and expressing that is an act of rebellion in a world that often looks down on or in fear of those who hold that kind of courage.

Be safe, and even if you are not able to show your authentic self, you are worthy of love, acceptance and security.

From all of us here at RISE Cold Lake,

Much love to all under the trans umbrella.
