Take Gordon Lake Road off Hwy 144 between Chelmsford & Dowling
Go 5km and turn Right on Vermillion Lake Road and travel about another 5 ½ km
Turn left on Brosseau Street
CFGA Property is at the end of the street
Please note that the CFGA Property IS PRIVATE PROPERTY &
NOT FOR PUBLIC USE---Membership is required to access our property at all times. All vehicles parked o
n CFGA Property must clearly display their CFGA Membership or risk being towed: this includes all visiting vehicles (NO OVERNIGHT PARKING). Vehicle License Plate Number must be clearly indicated on the membership. The CFGA is run on a volunteer basis only and all funds support our Walleye Hatchery & maintenance of the property. Family Membership cost is $40.00/year and gives members access to our property (boat launch, parking lot & all property facilities) from Jan to Dec. Memberships are $40 a year and available at Northern Quality Baits in Chelmsford, Gillos in Dowling, or on-site most days where cash e-transfer is accepted. Memberships are only valid for Primary Family Members: spouse & dependent children under the age of 17 years
When at the CFGA property:

“Fish caught by non-angling methods (bow & arrow, spearing, serine netting and dip netting) do not qualify for submission nor does any fish caught in the great lakes or great lakes tributaries”

TO REGISTER YOUR FISH, PLEASE COMPLETE THESE 5 EASY STEPS:

On a piece of paper, write down:

REMEMBER…..MAKE SURE:
Measurements must be in centimeters (cm)
Make sure measurements are clear in all pictures being submitted
STEP 1: Take a picture of the fish with the measuring tape alongside of it (from tip of the nose to the tip of the tail) making sure we can see the complete length of the fish and the paper with all necessary information
STEP 2: Without moving the tape, take one(1) close-up of the head and one (1) close-up of the tail of the fish. STEP 3: Now measure the girth of the fish (make sure the dorsal fin is all the way in & not out). Take a picture of the girth
STEP 4: Take a picture with your fish and the paper with all necessary information

REMEMBER…..MAKE SURE:

STEP 1: Measure the tip to tip spread with a measuring tape (cm). This is the distance between the tip of the right antler and the tip of the left antler. STEP 2: Find the greatest measurements from one tip on a certain side to the tip on the opposite side. STEP 3: With the paper will all necessary information, take a picture of you with the antlers, hunting license and the provincial game seal that was attached to the animal. If game seal & hunting license is not present, submission will not qualify. STEP 4: Along with a friend, a photograph of the measuring tape spread across the widest part of the antlers must be taken. Also, a photograph zoomed in at the beginning of the tape on the (left) antler and one on the end of the tape: opposite end of the (right) antler.
**A total of 4 photographs must be provided:
- One (1) of you with the filled in paperwork, license, game seal and the antlers
- One (1) of the measuring tape spread out across the antlers at the widest part
- One (1) of the beginning part of the tape on the antlers (Left)
- One (1) at the end of the measuring tape on the antlers (Right)

-This category runs from April to April
-Hunting License & Game Seal must be presented
Please Note:
-all submissions allow the CFGA to post the winners pictures in locations where memberships are
soldas well our FB Page
-no mounts will be accepted–must be obvious that the entry is a recent catch or kill
You must be a member in good standing for a period of at least 7 days prior to entering any Fish or Game in our CFGA Summer / Winter Contest.
