Onaping Falls Branch 503 - Royal Canadian Legion Lest We Forget. The Royal Canadian Legion is the largest of the many Veterans Organizations in Canada with over 340,000 members.

The Legion is open to all Canadian citizens and Commonwealth subjects. We have approximately 40,000 members of Ladies Auxiliary. Legion is a non-profit organization which strives to serve Veterans and the community. Since inception in 1926, Legion strives to secure adequate pensions and benefits for veterans and their dependants, dealing directly with Federal Government
The Legion's major responsi

bility is the perpetuation of "REMEMBRANCE" through the Annual Poppy Campaign reminding Canadians of the 117,000 men and women who gave their lives in the wars and military missions around the world
Poppy funds collected are used for assistance to veterans, ex-service members and their families who are in need
Legion supports programs for seniors, community, housing, Long Term Care, youth (including poetry and essay contest, poster contest and public speaking), education, sports, Cadets, Guides and Scouts.

Even with the rain Saturday, everyone had a great time at our annual golf tournament. The reigning champs for 2nd year in a row Chris Denault, Keli Dumont, Brian Dusick and Pierre Charron.

With this being my second year running this tournament, I think I have it figured out and it will be even better next year. We had some awesome donations this year, the support we received is amazing.

Happy Rainy Sunday everyone,

Even with the rain yesterday everyone had a great time at our annual golf tournament. The reigning champs for 2nd year in a row Chris Denault, Kelly Dumont, Brian Dusick and Pierre Charron celebrated the day well into the evening.
