This week, Family Service Kent is proud to support The Connection Postcard Project, a simple community initiative reminding us that a few kind words can make a real difference.
Pick up a postcard at a participating agency, write a thoughtful message to someone you’re thinking about, decorate it, and mail it or hand‑deliver it. One small act of connection can brighten someone’s day — maybe even change it.
Let’s take a moment this Mental Health Week to pause, reach out, and remind one another that we’re not alone. 💌

Feelings and Families is a 6‑week social‑emotional skills group offered by Family Service Kent for children aged 6–9 and their caregivers. The group focuses on building family capacity by strengthening caregivers’ ability to support children’s self‑regulation, coping strategies, mindfulness, and problem‑solving at home and in everyday situations.
Caregivers participate in three dedicated sessions to deepen understanding of the content and apply the skills within their family.
