Family Service Kent is so grateful to Elisha and the Music for the Mind Fundraiser for their amazing, ongoing fundraising for mental health services in Chatham-Kent. These funds are used to provide free and subsidized counselling as well as to cover the cost of psychological assessments for children in our community.

Our community is healthier thanks to the work that Elisha pours into the fundraising events each year. We are appreciative to everyone who has contributed along the way.

Thanks to the incredible generosity and support of our community, Music for the Mind raised an amazing $46,803 during our 2025–2026 fundraising year!

Today, we were honoured to present our cheque to Family Service Kent, and we couldn't be more grateful for what we've accomplished together.

For the past 7 years, you have stood beside us, helping raise awareness and provide vital support and resources for those facing mental health challenges right here in Chatham-Kent. Your continued belief in our mission is what makes all of this possible.

As we head into our 8th year, Music for the Mind will look a little different, but one thing remains unchanged: our commitment to making a difference in our community.

I am excited to share that Music for the Mind will continue with the support of some wonderful new committee members who will help carry our mission forward. I will remain on sick leave this year as I continue to focus on healing and recovery, but please know that I am still very much an integral part of this organization. Together, as a team, we are committed to maintaining the values, dedication, and high standards that you have come to know and respect from Music for the Mind.

We look forward to another year of building hope, creating awareness, and raising funds to help ensure children, youth, and adults have access to the mental health services and resources they need. Together, we can continue making a meaningful impact for the incredible organizations doing this essential work in our community.

Project Pathways provides free counselling and referral support for individuals affected by hate-motivated incidents, including harassment, discrimination, threats, or violence. The program offers a safe, respectful space to explore the impact of these experiences and connect with helpful community resources.

Individuals affected by hate-motivated incidents may be eligible for free counselling and support.

Self-referrals are welcome. You are not alone.
