🚨We’re preparing to submit a collective set of recommendations to the federal government ahead of the fall budget, and we’re inviting organizations across Canada to add their support.

Our pre-budget submission is an opportunity to put forward solutions before federal budget decisions are made. Already backed by more than 100 food security sector organizations across the country, our submission calls for action to:

✔ Meaningfully reduce food insecurity
✔ Strengthen income supports
✔ Fund Indigenous food sovereignty

Food insecurity is solvable with the right policy choices. Help strengthen the call for action by endorsing the submission.

Our Founder Liliane Bapfunya has always dreamed of advocating for wellness and building a healthy, thriving community in Canada. This vision came to life through our Healthy Mind, Full Plates Nutrition Workshop, which was a truly wonderful success!

We welcomed over 50 children, who learned how to build their own healthy lunch boxes, while parents engaged in a meaningful wellness mini-session focused on mental health and local community supports. Together, we also enjoyed cultural food tastings that celebrated the rich diversity of our community.

A heartfelt thank you to the Take Action Grants for making this workshop possible and helping us move closer to Liliane’s dream of a healthier community for all.

We’re working on a project that reflects our values of sustainability, accessibility, and connection.

Imagine a space where neighbours grow together, youth learn from elders, and everyone has a seat (and a seed) at the table.
