Another amazing day at Project Kampfire for our Grade 5 students!

After enjoying a campfire together last night, our students woke up ready for a full day of adventure, learning, and fun. From trying their hand at archery and building new skills to participating in exciting field games, students challenged themselves, encouraged one another, and created lasting memories.

Beyond the activities, the true magic of camp is the opportunity to grow together—building confidence, strengthening friendships, and learning the value of teamwork and perseverance. We are so proud of the way our students are embracing every experience and making the most of their time at camp!

🔥🌲 Our Grade 5 students are having an amazing time at Project Kampfire! 🌲🔥

Students jumped right into a day of adventure, exploration, and teamwork. They built structures in the forest, discovered tadpoles by the lake, took part in a scavenger hunt through the woods, and enjoyed pizza for lunch.

The fun continues this evening with class games, songs around the campfire, and a chance to learn about the stars under the night sky. ✨

Project Kampfire provides students with meaningful opportunities to connect with nature, build friendships, develop leadership skills, and create lasting memories outside the classroom.

Last week, we celebrated our Grade 9 Graduation and the incredible accomplishments of this remarkable group of students. Over the years, they have grown as learners, leaders, and proud members of our CJA community.

As they take the next step in their educational journey, we are filled with pride and excitement for all that lies ahead. Their dedication, resilience, kindness, and commitment to Jewish values have left a lasting impact on our school.

Thank you to our families, teachers, and staff who have supported and guided these students along the way. We know this is only the beginning of many future successes.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Annual Mishpacha & Maple Syrup Pancake Breakfast! 🥞🍁

What a wonderful morning filled with delicious pancakes, live music, crafts, games, laughter, and community spirit. It was so special to see families, friends, students, alumni, staff, and community members come together to celebrate.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible volunteers, staff, and community partners who helped make this event such a success. We are especially grateful to everyone who attended and helped create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Events like these remind us of the strength of our CJA community and the joy of coming together as one big mishpacha.

What a wonderful morning at our Annual Mishpacha & Maple Syrup Pancake Breakfast! 🥞🍁

Today, CJA was proud to welcome families, friends, alumni, and community members for a celebration filled with connection, laughter, and community spirit. Guests enjoyed a delicious pancake breakfast, live music, crafts, games, and activities for all ages, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that truly reflected the spirit of our school.

A special thank you to Calgary-based, award-winning country-pop artists Megan Dawson & Flaysher for providing fantastic live music and helping make the morning even more memorable. We are also grateful to PJ Library for partnering with us and helping create engaging experiences for our families.

Events like this remind us how fortunate we are to be part of such a caring and connected community. Seeing generations of families, students, staff, and community members come together to celebrate is what makes CJA so special.

Thank you to our generous sponsors, dedicated parent volunteers, and hardworking staff members whose time, energy, and support made this event possible. Your commitment helps create meaningful experiences that strengthen our community and bring us together year after year.

Nothing says the school year is almost over quite like recovering $200 worth of water bottles from the Lost & Found. 💧😆

Seriously, the collection is impressive.
Along with enough jackets, uniform sweaters, gym clothes, and miscellaneous items to stock a small store, our Lost & Found is overflowing with belongings looking for their way home.

Before summer break begins, please encourage your child to take a look. You might be surprised by what has been hiding there all year!

🥧 Pie Day was a smashing success! 🥧

Our Student Council, led by Mr. Kouperman, raised funds for Magen David Adom through our annual Pie Day fundraiser. Students purchased tickets for the chance to pie teachers and Student Council members, all while supporting an important cause.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our CJA community, we raised an amazing $1,700!

Students had a blast throwing pies, sharing laughs, and watching their teachers and fellow students get covered in whipped cream. It was a fun-filled afternoon that brought our school community together while making a meaningful impact.

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and helped make Pie Day such a memorable success! 💙🥧

All CJA parents are Voting Members and are encouraged to attend. Your participation is important as we reflect on the past year and look ahead to the future of our school community.

If you are unable to attend but wish to vote by proxy, please ensure your completed and valid proxy form is submitted to CJA prior to the meeting.
