Welcome to the official page for the Woodcreek Community and the Woodcreek Community Association. As a Community Association we offer our residents a variety of social, cultural and recreational programs for both children and adults. Outdoor Facilities:

Facilities for Rent:
• Main Hall (Capacity: 150 for dining or 200 theatre style seating)
• Boardroom (Capacity: for to 18 people)
• Meeting Room/Dance Studio (Capacity: 50-70; 1000 square ft.) Both the main hall and the boardroom have computer, internet and TV capabilities (lower level meeting room does not have computer, internet or TV). Please call (403) 238-1611 for hall rentals. Have you seen these newly painted utility boxes around Woodcreek? 👀🫎🌳🎨🧑‍🎨

The WCA would like to thank the City of Calgary – Your Local Government and the Calgary Arts Development for partnering with us on the Utility Arts Project as part of our continuous efforts to beautify the community by installing public art within the Woodcreek community.

With its initial planning stages beginning in the spring of 2025, the project has come to fruition in early June 2026, with work concluding earlier this month. The project has transformed two utility boxes in Woodcreek into vibrant works of public art that will be enjoyed by Woodcreek residents and visitors for years to come.

Both illustrations' theme and design were heavily inspired by the responses on the survey sent to Woodcreek residents last year. We received over 200 responses that wanted to see Woodcreek's nature and wildlife depicted on the boxes with vibrant colours and imagery.

A heartfelt thank you to our artists, Ethel Dalida and Alexis Prince, for sharing their creativity and talent by adding colour and vibrancy to the community, capturing the unique essence of Woodcreek through their art.

Ethel Dalida’s "Live Free" artwork celebrates the vibrant energy and interconnectedness of the community. It highlights Woodcreek’s outdoor vitality and captures how its residents live: in motion, in nature, and in community. Alexis Prince’s "Along the Path" , inspired by the community’s trees and walking paths, reflects on how these social arteries act as a gateway for shared stories and experiences that connect neighbours throughout Woodcreek.

"Live Free" and "Along the Path" can be viewed on the utility boxes located at Woodlands (corner of Woodpark Blvd and Woodview Dr) and at Woodbine (corner of 24th St and Woodview Dr), respectively.

We are grateful to everyone who helped make this collaboration possible and we are excited for the lasting impact the Utility Arts Project will have on our community.

EVENT POSTPONED! We have made the difficult decision to postpone the Neighbour Day Show N' Shine event due to the forecasted weather impacting our Woodcreek on Wheels car show.

Our new event date is scheduled for Thursday, June 25 from 6:00PM to 8:30PM at the Woodcreek Community Centre (1991 Woodview Dr SW).

The Woodcreek on Wheels car show will begin at 6PM with the BBQ starting at 6:30PM. Awards and door prizes will be announced at 8PM.
