Douglasdale and DouglasGlen comprise a large area of the southeast sector of Calgary. The community encompasses both sides of Deerfoot from the Bow River to 130th Avenue SE and includes Douglasdale Estates, DouglasGlen, Douglas Ridge and Douglasdale Meadows as well as the DouglasGlen business park on the east side of the Deerfoot and south of 130th Avenue SE. The community accommodates approximately 12,000 residents, over 4,000 homes and more than 150 businesses!

The DouglasQuarry Community Association (DQCA) is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help support one of our largest annual fundraising events — our upcoming casino fundraiser at Deerfoot Inn & Casino on August 7 & 8, 2026.

Casino fundraisers play a major role in helping community associations like ours fund important initiatives, programs, and improvements that directly benefit residents. The proceeds from this event will go toward supporting community infrastructure, local programming, and future events in Douglasdale, Douglas Glen and Quarry Park.

We occasionally receive inquiries about snow removal in our communities, and how to report pathways that aren't being cleared/slip & fall hazards.

⚠️ All pathway snow removal is managed by the City of Calgary.

The City is responsible for high foot traffic pathways that do not border a residential property. Snow removal on a sidewalk immediately adjacent to residential property is the homeowners responsibility.
