The 2026 La Due Ladies Lunch Foundation Raffle is officially LIVE! ✨🤠

The La Due Ladies Lunch is a not-for-profit society of women who, like Flores LaDue, embody the true Cowgirl Spirit — tenacity, innovation, imagination, and a rancher’s work ethic.

Each year, on the day before the Calgary Stampede, the La Due Ladies gather for lunch to celebrate the legendary cowgirls who helped shape the Western way of life. What began as a gathering of friends has grown into a sold-out charitable event dedicated to supporting the next generation of Western women.

Through the funds raised, the La Due Ladies Lunch Foundation proudly supports scholarships for young women across Alberta — helping those who live life with Cowgirl Spirit and Cowgirl Tough determination pursue their academic dreams at both the high school and post-secondary level.

On this International Women’s Day, we want to take a moment to recognize the women at the heart of our movement here at the LaDue Ladies Luncheon!

Our inspiration begins with the legendary cowgirl Florence LaDue — a trailblazer whose strength, determination, and western spirit helped shape the legacy of cowgirls everywhere. Her grit and passion for the western way of life continue to inspire generations of young women to ride boldly toward their dreams!

In the true spirit of this remarkable cowgirl, the LaDue Ladies Luncheon celebrates that same tenacity and lifestyle in the young women of our western community.

As the deadline for our scholarship quickly approaches, we are proud to give back and support the next generation of cowgirls pursuing their education and carving their own paths.

We are pleased to share that the La Due Scholarship Program has updated its eligibility criteria to better support young women pursuing their educational goals

Now eligible to apply:

* Post-secondary Entrants:
Grade 12 students who will be pursuing post-secondary education after graduation

* Post-secondary Continuing Students:
Students currently enrolled in a post-secondary program who demonstrate ongoing academic commitment and achievement

Both groups may apply under our
Cowgirl Tough and Cowgirl Spirit categories

NEW SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNTS:

*** First Place: $4000
*** Second Place: $2750
*** Third Place (NEW!): $1500

Applications will be accepted online beginning Thursday January 26, 2026 to April 17, 2026. The 2026 award winners will be announced Tuesday June 2, 2026.
