✨ Some moments are simply too good not to share!

We're still smiling as we look back at this year's DDRC Stampede Breakfast. 💙 From delicious pancakes and great conversations to incredible community spirit and a dance floor full of joy, it was a morning to remember.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event so special. And of course, a special shoutout to Chickweed who kept the party going with an unforgettable performance—and what they hilariously dubbed "synchronized wheelchairs!" 🤠💃♿

We're also so grateful to our wonderful VIP guests and community partners who stopped by to celebrate with us. We loved sharing this special morning with you all!

Inclusive gardening through Horticulture therapy 🌿

This week marked the beginning of our planting season as we installed two new raised garden beds on-site for clients to enjoy and use. These accessible beds are designed to support mobility challenges, making gardening more inclusive and accessible for everyone!

One of the raised beds has been designated as a native plant garden to help support local biodiversity and pollinators. The second bed will become our food garden, where clients can grow and enjoy fresh produce throughout the season.

This project was made possible through funding from the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, and we are extremely grateful for their support! Thank you for your continued support and interest in our Horticulture Therapy sessions, which are part of the Gardening in the Community Program.
