β˜•πŸ’š We have some exciting news to share!

Calgary Adapted Hub powered by Jumpstart is honoured to be one of more than 2700+ community organizations across Canada (and one of six in Calgary) selected to receive a 2026 Neighbourhood Grant from The Starbucks Foundation.

This grant was made possible through a nomination from a local Starbucks partner/employee who saw the impact Calgary Adapted Hub is making in our community. While we don't know who you are, we're incredibly grateful. Thank you for believing in our mission and helping create more opportunities for children, youth, and families living with disabilities.

This funding will help us continue to connect children, youth, and families living with disabilities to quality sports and recreation opportunities, building more inclusive communities where everyone has the opportunity to belong and participate in their communities!

A heartfelt thank you to and for investing in grassroots organizations that create meaningful change in their communities.

Together, we're helping more children discover the joy of sport and recreation.

Everyone can play sitting volleyball recreationally. This program is open to participants of all abilities, ages, genders, and playing experiences, and is funded by Volleyball Canada’s Rise & Rally Grant from the Government of Canada’s Community Sport for All Initiative (CSAI).

Program Details:

Participants will be introduced to the basic fundamental skills of sitting volleyball and game play.

The program will be run by members of the Canadian Men's & Women's Sitting Volleyball Team and Dinos Club coaches in a group setting.
**If you have questions about participation or accommodations prior to registering, we’d love to connect. Email Reid Brodie: [email protected]

What to Bring/Wear:
Water bottle and a snack
Indoor shoes (no black soled shoes)
Participants will want to slide on the floor so pants/leggings or shorts with compression tights are helpful.
