Good morning Abbeydale,

Here's what's coming up right away:
Oct. 13 - 10 to Noon - Coffee And Connections Wellness Session
Oct. 21 - 7pm - Community Association Annual General Meeting in The Abbey
Oct. 30 - Spooky Scary Skeletons Jelly Bean Dance

For the AGM, the role of President and Secretary is up for election. These are 2 year terms. We also have director roles and other volunteer opportunities that will be up for election. We'll have our general board meeting immediately after the elections to discuss things happening in and around the hall and community.

Also, as I mentioned, there will be information booklets arriving in your mailboxes this week in regards to the South McKnight Local Area Plan. This is the start of what is being envisioned for the communities between McKnight and Memorial, and between Deerfoot to Stoney. Information will also be in the Engagement Box (we've been using it as a little library) in front of the hall. There will be multiple ways to engage with the city about these plans, between online and in-person.

Have a great week!
