At Chinook Bengals Cricket Club, we believe cricket is about more than just what happens on the field. It’s about friendship, community, and the people who stand behind the team.

Today, we want to take a moment to recognize and sincerely thank our dear friend Sohail Abdullah for his incredible support and encouragement for our cricket team.

Your support means a lot to our players and the entire Chinook Bengals family!

A long overdue celebration!
Some knocks are great, some are mindblowing.. and then you have a knock that even your biggest opponents will stop and admire because it's simply legendary. Siyam Chowdhury's knock for the first eliminator in Div 1 T20 was simply too good! He paced his innings with class and gave absolutely no chances to the opponent who looked clueless against a masterclass. His 13 sixes can very be counted 26 as they were all outta ground. The knock helped Titans secure an important victory and helped them finish third in the season .

We will win many games and have many inspirational knocks... But this will remain the Chinook Bengals no.1 for quite some time.

Congrats Siyam and best of luck breaking your own record one day!

Before we can recover from one in-humane tragedy, we get handed another one. When does this stop? When do people pause and think before committing the worst crime possible?

We are sorry, we are ashamed and we are worried....

Last weekend, we had a complete demolition of St.Johns 4 for the final regular season contest for the Vikings. As a must win game, there was certainly some pressure but our boys took none of that. Batting first, Vikings scored a very good total of 230 armed by an incredible anchor knock by Hussain Yeasin and support from the rest. That total was always going to be difficult and our bowlers made light work to get SJs all out for 136. Yeasin was again the star of the show with 3 quick wickets and Tahmid Huq Easher chipping in early strikes.

This win means we finish tied for 2nd place in points and will be competing for the champion title.

Way to go boys!

While some games do not get us the desired result, some performances are still worth celebrating. Here we have a truly special effort from Rakin Ashraf Khan who put up a Fifer and also scored some crucial runs in a difficult game. Rakins exceptional bowling was too hard for the opposition to navigate and his batting showed a lot of dedication and hunger.

Keep it up Rakin!

The Chinook Bengals Vikings delivered a dominant all-round performance, securing a commanding 119-run victory over the Airdrie Stallions.

Batting first, the Vikings posted an impressive 222/6 in 35 overs. Azharul Islam Sahal led the charge with a superb 94 off 82 balls, narrowly missing out on a well-deserved century. Hussain Yeasin also played a valuable innings with 56, while Labib Afsar Ahmed and Hisham Raj chipped in with some quick runs to take the total over 200.

With the ball, Fardeen Islam completely dismantled the Airdrie batting lineup, producing a sensational spell of 6 wickets for just 21 runs in 7 overs. His devastating bowling helped ball Airdrie out for 103 in 22 overs, with Tahmid Huq Easher, Nafis Ahmed and KM Chisty providing strong support.

A complete team performance from the Vikings and another emphatic win!
