🌽 We're Hiring: Back-Up Market Day Manager

The Burlington Centre Lions Farmers Market is looking for a reliable, people-friendly Back-Up Market Day Manager for the 2026 season.

You'll step in when our Market Day Manager is away, keeping the market running smoothly. Think opening and closing the hut, setting up signs and stalls, assigning vendor spots, and being a friendly point of contact for vendors and customers.

📅 Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays, 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM
🌙 Plus Wednesday evening markets, 2:30 to 7:30 PM (June through September)
🗓️ Season runs May 20 to October 24, 2026

What an incredible day at the Walk for Dog Guides! 🐾💛

Four-legged friends of all shapes and sizes came out to show their support — and they were kind enough to bring their humans along too!

We are so grateful to everyone who joined us, donated, volunteered, cheered, walked, wagged, and helped make today such a success. It was wonderful to see our community come together in support of such an important cause.

🎹 Congrats to Maks Acton — the winner of the inaugural Ignite: Next Gen Music Competition! This self-taught Grade 7 musician started on a piano gifted by his uncle and hasn’t stopped playing since. From Tabone Music Academy to the Ignite Showcase stage, Maks plays piano, guitar, harmonica, AND drums. 🎸🥁Catch Maks this summer performing at the Lakeshore Music and Arts Festival!
